Awesome!

I see improvements for the first time! I thought this tutorial is hard to learn and I will lose immediately like other tutorials. I have read all Parts and learned a lot. Now, I am a Premium Member and can already write my own Engine. I have made a lot of experience in a really short time, unbelivable. Great thx to directxtutorial.com

Brilliant!

I've spent alot of time being limited by other people's engine's. Not that they weren't great engines, or I didn't learn alot by useing them (actually I found it helped in learning c++ as I took both on at the same time), but It seemed that if I needed a feature I'd have to wait till they had the time and ressources to implement them. Now that I've Taken a look behind the curtain I can see, thank's to these tutorial's, that I can do it myself. I never bothered to look too deep into Direct3D before, but now I wonder why I never did! These tutorial's are awsome to the say the least, easy to undertand and easy to retain. Even if to just better understand the inner working of the game development pipeline. Well worth the price of admission.

Great

Great site for learning programming DirectX.I now have a working engine with 3D models and 2D sprite images ontop. I have my own chat system and I can have the program use UDP to synch to another PC (multiplayer). One thing I am trying to figure out is how to draw sleak looking text like you find in video games, the tutorial covers only the basic choppy text on sprite stuff. Also trying to figure out a good way to import several meshes, hard to make classes that handles opening, drawing and closing of objects. I guess I could make a vector of some sort and put everything I want drawed into it, then pass it to a render function.
